Sometimes you just need to have a sweet treat. Nothing is better than warm brownies on a cold day. You will need one baking dish 8″x 9″and two medium size bowls one for dry and one for wet ingredients. If you love to bake we are doing the muffin method.

Ingredients  dry bowl

¾ cup almond flour

¼ cup coconut flour

¼cup plus 2 tablespoons dark cocoa

½ tsp salt

3 oz chopped dark chocolate 70%

1 tsp arrowroot if you don’t have you can use baking powder

½ cup walnuts optional


Ingredients for wet bowl

½ cup grapeseed oil

2 eggs or (2 Tab chia 6 Tab water let stand 15 minutes)

½ cup maple syrup

¼ cup brown sugar (optional )

1 tsp vanilla

½ tsp cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350

Mix all the ingredients in there designated bowls. Once mixed pour the wet ingredients into the dry bowl and mix until well combined. Spray or butter a baking dish line the bottom with parchment paper or dust with flour. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a poker comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. If you are trying to lose weight cut into 1-inch square leave out for one hour then put in the freezer. Only have one square per serving.
