The Struggle is Real

Hello, happy people, I’m about to on an embark adventure. Before we begin I want to tell you a little bit about my struggles with my weight.

I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager. I had (have) a lot of hormone issue since I hit puberty at 16. I say have because I recently gained a lot of weight when I found out I have fibromyalgia. My pains started out slowly I started feeling pain in my head I couldn’t move my fingers then I started feeling it in my shoulders and legs. Exercise is a big part of my life but the more I exercised the more pain I felt in my body. I started gaining weight due to stress and hormone imbalances, exercise helped balance my hormones. But I couldn’t exercise because I was in so much pain or sleeping due to chronic fatigue. Needless to say, I was losing control and didn’t know what to do. I started getting stranger symptoms felt hungry all the time, not just any hunger I felt pain if I didn’t eat. This was the most stressful experience I ever been through. As a personal trainer, you are supposed to be a model of health but mine was slipping. I am starting to get better, I want to get back to my happy place. I love exercise that is why I’m a personal trainer, magical things happen when you exercise. Now that you have a little background of my struggles, maybe you can relate. I want to do weekly check-ins to tell you what I am trying in hopes I can inspire you to take control of your health. Now what might work for me might not work for you.
